The clinic at the Gulf Coast Humane Society shelter is open to the public for affordable spay/neuter surgeries. Appointments can be made online or by calling our medical staff at (239) 332-1573 or emailing spayneuterappointments@gulfcoasthumanesociety.org

When making an appointment, a deposit of $50.00 is required. The deposit will be applied toward the final surgical invoice and is non-refundable without a 48 hour notice of cancellation.
*Effective February 1, spay and neuter surgery prices will increase by $15. This change allows us to include essential post-operative care for every patient.
All spay and neuter surgeries will now automatically include:
• Additional post-operative pain medication
• An e-collar (cone)
Including these items helps ensure pets are comfortable after surgery and reduces the risk of post-surgical complications, such as pets interfering with their incision.

The Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program is designed specifically for unowned community cats and feral cats that will be returned to the location where they were trapped. This program is not for cats intended to be surrendered to the shelter.
The fee is $45 per cat, which includes surgery, rabies vaccination, and ear tipping (universal sign of a sterilized community cat).
This program helps control the community cat population while allowing healthy cats to live safely in the environment they know.
If an appointment is cancelled 48-hours prior to the appointment, the deposit will be refunded. If the appointment is cancelled within 48-hours, the deposit is non-refundable. To cancel an appointment, call our Spay/Neuter medical staff at the phone number listed above.
DISCLAIMER
All spay and neuter surgeries are performed at the discretion of the surgeon following a pre-surgical examination. Surgery may be denied if the veterinarian determines that the patient’s weight, overall health, or medical condition presents a risk. Animals considered high-risk will incur an additional $25 fee.
