The clinic at the Gulf Coast Humane Society shelter is open to the public for affordable spay/neuter surgeries. Appointments can be made online or by calling our medical staff at (239) 332-1573 or emailing spayneuterappointments@gulfcoasthumanesociety.org
When making an appointment, a deposit of $50.00 is required. The deposit will be applied to the final surgical invoice.

To make an appointment to spay or neuter feral/community cats

The Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) program is designed specifically for unowned community cats and feral cats that will be returned to the location where they were trapped. This program is not for cats intended to be surrendered to the shelter.
The fee is $45 per cat, which includes surgery, rabies vaccination, and ear tipping (universal sign of a sterilized community cat).
This program helps control the community cat population while allowing healthy cats to live safely in the environment they know.
If an appointment is cancelled 24-hours prior to the appointment, the deposit will be refunded. If the appointment is cancelled within 24-hours, the deposit is non-refundable. To cancel an appointment, call our Spay/Neuter medical staff at the phone number listed above.
DISCLAIMER
We cannot accommodate canine spays or neuters that weigh greater than 110 pounds. However, regardless of a patient’s weight it is up to the discretion of our spay/neuter surgeons whether or not they will perform surgery on your pet depending on the results of their pre surgical examination. Animals considered high-risk will have an additional $25 fee.
Our Spay it Forward Campaign focuses on combating pet overpopulation in Lee County and surrounding counties.
